|Alfa Romeo Klub Danmark - Club Sport
17. april 2004
The first event in the 2004 calendar. The team met at Gert Sterner's for an early start at 5 o'clock in the morning. We had the good company of Series Organizer Peter Dyrelund who had arrived at the ungodly hours from Sealand in his Alfa Romeo 75 Turbo Evoulizione.
Three hours later we arrived at Løgstør KTA for Scrutineering, instructions for the new D-license and driver briefing. The track was laid out for quite fast lapping but also had tight corners and tricky chicanes (good job done by the organizers!).
The cars ran OK, allthough Gert Sterner had som fuel-feed problems at some time. Both ITR drivers had stated that they whould save the equipment, rather than storm at it for a good lap-time.
Claus Larsen took both cars for a few fast laps with the owners in the passenger seats, and he was able to show some serious racing techniques that will probably find use in future events.
