Padborg Park home
Alfa Romeo Klub Danmark/ Honda Klub Danmark - Club Sport

18. october 2003

The Padborg Park race track was inaugurated this year, and everybody had been looking forward to trying it out. The Alfa Romeo and Honda OCs of Denmark invited the Fiat-, Lancia- and Subaru-registers as well, and people showed up in high numbers.

The track is very interesting and even though we don't have a lot of horsepower, it is big fun to drive the fast bits as well.

Gert Sterner wore out his brake pads on the front wheels and had to retire after the first practice run, and Per Einarsson overshot T1 on the first timed lap and had to dive into the pit-lane. So only one time was rcorded for ITR that day. But it was a nice ending to the 2003 Club Sport Season.

Gert Sterner in the 33 1.7 16V ended as third-best in the class under 148 bhp and Per Einarsson ended in slot 8 after a combined effort in the Giulia GT and the 164 2.0 TS, also in the class under 148 bhp. Simon Nielsen ended 25th in the big class with his 164 3.0 V6.
