Star-driver laps the boss
GPL65 race at Croft International Trophy

Per Einarsson turned up in the pits just before practice began and said that he only wanted to watch this race. "Just to see how the track goes. The last time one of our drivers raced without any knowledge of the track, we were virtually yelled at afterwards". Don't want to repeat that, then!

But after watching the game for ten minutes, a Ferrari 512 was prepared and the Capo set out to race anyway. And after 23 of the 27 laps of the race he had gained two places, but at that time he was also lapped by ITR newcomer Henrik Christensen, who raced in his BRM 261.

The race was extremely fast and a new world-best laptime was set and reset several times. Pole-sitter Christer Rasmussen (Ferrari 512) lost by 0.47 seconds to Laust Olsen (Ferrari 512)

Per Einarsson is blue-flaged with Henrik Christensen about to lap him. But before he got an opportunity to let the BRM by, he lost it at a tight right-hander (insert picture). "I had something in my eye. Otherwise he would never had passed me", said the boss after the race
